RULES, LAWS AND norms
Any discussion of criminal behavior requires understanding of the difference in the meaning of rules, laws and norms. Rules may be unwritten, or formal and written. The rules of
dress or even unwritten guides of how we eat. In contrast, the rules of a factory, for example safety regulations, are usually written down and serve the best strict regulators of behavior.
Laws are perhaps, the more example of written, formal rules and one decided upon by Powerful and Influential groups in society. In order to ensure that everyone adheres found the laws, there are specific penalties, including fines or Imprisonment, for those breaking them guilty of such. Unlike other rules, like as of dress or of grammar rules, laws can, always be enforced by agencies like the police and the courts.
